set by the UK Department of Transport Code of Practice for charter vessels,
which means that they each carry the stipulated number of life jackets
and harnesses, a life raft, flares, fire fighting appliances, navigation
equipment and charts, ground tackle and mooring lines.
Each yacht is thoroughly cleaned between charters
and maintenance checks are regularly made. Advice is always available
about marinas, anchorages and where to go to eat ashore, and to help
you plan a route or itinerary.
